In my role as an Environment Artist for Creative Assembly/SEGA, I worked on the sci-fi multiplayer PvEvP shooter called Hyenas.
------------------------------------------------
One of my main tasks and my first one in the project was to create the Service Core, which splits to Small and Large. The Service Core is a big area with zero gravity that connects the Engineering Room to the ship's Bridge. The area is a combination of both bespoke and modular kits, which, throughout the development process, I had to redesign or create new pieces for it, to ensure flawless navigation for the players through the level. After finalizing the art, I did the dressing pass of the area by placing decals, cosmetic props, and cover props, all while ensuring that the finished version of the level respected the gameplay's needs.
------------------------------------------------
Although, sadly, the project got cancelled, I feel grateful for working alongside a very professional and creative group of people across all departments who worked tirelessly to visualize, create, and bring Hyenas to life.
